Responsibilities:
Customer Interface:
- Maintain positive customer relations with large automotive OEMs.
Procurement:
- Control and validate purchase requisitions exceeding 30 days of coverage.
- Contribute to lead time and minimum order quantity (MOQ) optimization in collaboration with Purchasing teams.
- Monitor and enhance supplier logistics performance, focusing on service rate improvements.
Inventory (DOH):
- Develop and monitor action plans for all BU plants (covering raw materials, WIP, finished products, and C-class items).
- Drive initiatives to optimize days on hand (DOH) performance.
Master Production Scheduling (MPS):
- Coordinate implementation and training of MPS processes across sites.
Customer Service:
- Create and manage action plans to improve customer service rates.
- Approve exceptional transportation requests and serve as the primary customer contact for the BU.
- Manage and resolve customer claim disputes effectively.
Project Management:
- Ensure logistics integration in project planning, including cost, service rate, and transit (SR&T) considerations.
- Prepare for and support SOPs (Start of Production).
Process Improvement:
- Implement and oversee smart processes, providing training and ongoing support.
Plant Logistics Support:
- Assist plants in optimizing logistic resources and workflows.
Logistics Network Leadership:
- Lead and animate the logistics network within the organization.
- Develop team competencies and methodologies to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Required: Extensive experience with SAP in a supply chain environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, and customer logistics.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and train diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
